Golf for the girls!!

Our appeal for more women on the fairway…

More and more women are taking up the great sport of Golf as they realise the benefits it brings to their businesses and well being. It is for this reason that we offer specially designed sessions for women to phase their introduction to the golfing world.

 Our introductory sessions include :

• How to get started
• Where to play
• Playing on a budget
• Introduction to the clubs and the basics of the swing.
• The session also includes the important aspect such as what not to wear and where to buy your clothes!

Our group lessons also prove very popular with our female golfers as they find learning with friends offers a supportive way to learn and it can cost as little as £10 per hour!
Jo adds, “Since leaning to play golf I would really like to see more women playing. It’s a very accessible sport which is not as expensive as people think. Golf is a great way for women to do business.  It’s also an easy way to relax and you never know who you might meet in the Club House.”

Fellow Director Julian Mellor adds “For women, the special group sessions take the intimidation out of learning this fascinating sport.  In addition, the handicap system in golf means that men and women can compete on an equal footing so it’s a great game to play together.”
